Downeast Public Reserve Management Plan Final Draft Released, Public Hearing Scheduled
 

The plan is available for reading and download on the DOC website. For access to the plan click the link at the bottom of the page. DOC has planned a public hearing on the plan for December 12, 6-9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Cherryfield. Thay have also set a deadline of December 27th for receiving written comments.
We at the DSF would urge people to read the plan, attend the meeting, and send in their comments. The Public reserve land belongs to us all and we should make sure that the management meets our needs.
