New Episode: Salmon
Initial Broadcast: Thursday, June 14 at 8:30 pm
Episode #1913
The final new episode of the 19th season looks at salmon in Maine: raising them, catching them, and making them just as tasty as possible. The first stop on our salmon tour is The Down East Salmon Federation in Columbia Falls, a group dedicated to the preservation of Maine’s wild Atlantic salmon runs. Then it’s off to Grand Lake Stream, where salmon fishing draws anglers from far and wide. Viewers will meet Bob Upham, known locally around Grand Lake Stream as the River Master, before heading to Stonington for a profile of Stonington Sea Products, which ships their Scottish style smoked salmon to customers worldwide.
