Construction is officially underway at Cable Pool Park in Cherryfield!

Yesterday, Sargent Construction began excavating the river-left embankment of the dam to create a temporary bypass channel, allowing the river to continue flowing safely around the construction site as work progresses.

Though Cable Pool Park is now closed to the public during construction, we’re excited to share this important milestone with the community and invite you to join us for a public site tour at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31 (date and time are subject to change) to learn more about the project and see the progress firsthand.
