Environmental Education

Teens will be part of a co-ed youth crew, camping out at the Wigwams Rapid on the Machias River and working with professionals doing trail work and salmon habitat restoration.  You can apply on the Cobscook Institute website here: https://cobscookinstitute.org/rivercamp

Each year, a very special delivery is made to local schools: 200 endangered Atlantic salmon eggs. The students care for the eggs until they hatch and grow to become fry.
