Live Cameras
This view is in an eddy just below an impassable dam on the Orange River that the Downeast Salmon Federation is working to restore fish passage over and around with partners from Maine Coast Heritage Trust.

We expect to see Alewives (river herring) and Salmon parr at this location, and typically more activity in the spring, fall and winter.

Please complete the Observation report if you see activity. This citizen reporting is a huge help to our team of biologists and conservationists in assessing migration patterns.

If you need some help identifying the fish on the camera, head over to our Videos page where the 'Salmon Life Cycle' has images of Salmon at all stages, and Alewives.
