Trail at Beech Hill Preserve

This scenic preserve consists of uplands that are primarily birch, aspen and red maple, and the property has nearly a mile of frontage on the Pleasant River. This stretch of river and wetlands is a high-value spawning and nursery habitat for sea-run fish species, including endangered Atlantic salmon and brook trout.

A small private cabin exists on the property, and visitors are asked to respect and avoid disturbing this camp. No amenities or facilities are available, and visitors should practice the “Pack-It-In, Pack-It-Out” policy while visiting this preserve.
