Visitors can access the preserve from Route 193 by driving to the Beddington-Deblois town line and turning east on the gravel road for 0.6 miles. The access road will go through the forest briefly, then it runs along the preserve’s southern boundary until reaching the parking area and kiosk. There is parking for several vehicles, and the loop trail and access to the primitive campsite are from this location. Visitors should be aware and respectful of the commercial blueberry fields which abut the preserve and through which the access road transits. Some blueberries can be found on the preserve, but the surrounding blueberry fields are privately-owned.

No facilities are available at Rock Dam, and visitors should practice the “Pack-It-In, Pack-It-Out” policy while visiting this preserve.
