In honor of Downeast Salmon Federation's 40th year in operation, we are holding a community photo competition. The competition is running from April 1st to August 1st, so you have 4 months to submit a winning photo to haley@mainesalmonrivers.org
The competition is open to all community members, and will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in 4 categories: Best Action Shot, Best Wild Fish (or Wildlife) Photo, Best Downeast Aquascape, and Best Underwater/Overland Shot.
Plus, we will have prizes for the Best Junior Photo (18 and under) and the Best Short Video.

Prizes will include a weekend stay at one of our camps, outdoor equipment, gift cards, and more! Specific details to follow. Till then, get your cameras out and show us your love for DSF, Downeast Maine, and natural wildlife we work so hard to cherish and protect.
You've got 4 months to take your best shot in one of our 4 categories!
Categories include:
Action Shots -- fishing, habitat restoration, kayaking, hiking... all outdoor fun!
Wild Fish (or Wildlife) Photo -- we love fish... and birds and turtles and mammals too!
Downeast Aquascapes -- think: rivers, marshes, lakes, streams, and brooks...
Underwater/Overland Shot -- Go-Pros and drones and underwater cameras? Oh my!
By submitting a photo to the DSF 40th Anniversary Photo Competition, you certify that your photo entry is your own creative property and that you allow Downeast Salmon Federation to use your submission on all of its platforms.
