The season for rainbow smelt (and soon Atlantic Salmon, too!) spawning is upon us, and that means the 2022 Spawning Smelt Survey is almost ready to launch. A good reminder that even though our annual smelt fry is CANCELED, the smelt run is still on.
We will still be counting on our volunteers to help us survey!
Zone 3 (Downeast) surveying starts in April, you can learn more here. And if you are interested in volunteering to help, please register for the training with the link below!

March 30 at 4:00 pm EST.
Training is required for participation even if you helped with the survey in previous years.
