SACO FALLS

TOWN PARK

Developed in partnership with the Town of Columbia, DSF owns a Conservation Easement for Saco Falls Town Park in Columbia ME.

This park is a community favorite on a hot summer day.  Accessed from Saco Rd. in Columbia, the preserve offers a fun place to swim, slide, and picnic.

We welcome the public to the DSF Land Trust properties and ask that you review the Hunting & Wildlife Viewing Equipment Policy in advance of your visit. All properties are 'carry-in, carry-out'.  You must have a permit to have a campfire on the properties.

State law requires fire permits for all open fires (including in campsite fire rings). Campfires may be banned during dry periods. Contact the Maine Forest Service for a permit at (207) 827-1800.

DIRECTIONS:

From Route 1 in Columbia (at the intersection known as "Four Corners", near the Four Corners Shop & Save market), head north on Station Road for 2.8 miles, then continue straight onto Saco Road. Go another 1.3 miles. Saco Falls will be on the right. There is a small trail sign on the right, just before the bridge, and a small parking area for one car to pull over.
